Department of Meteorology

Weather forecasts, seasonal climate outlooks for the Gu and Deyr rains, early warning and the Centre for Climate Prediction.

Department of Environmental Governance

Environmental law, Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA), compliance, enforcement and Multilateral Environmental Agreements.

Department of Planning

Strategic planning, monitoring and evaluation, project pipeline development and coordination with development partners.

Department of Biodiversity, Wildlife and Forest

Protected areas, wildlife and marine conservation, forestry, the NBSAP and the Green Somalia tree-planting campaign.

Department of Operation and Support

Finance, human resources, procurement, logistics and administration for the Ministry.

Department of ICT

Digital services, data systems, GIS, the Ministry website and staff email.
